E.A.K Ramen in West Village

Ramen is inexpensive, ranges from $14 to $30 dollars max depending on toppings & place.

The Ramen Bowls at E.A.K start at $18 dollars, with extra charge for toppings like extra noodles or eggs. Reasons why I’m able to do these ramen blogs kind of consistent although I be late with everything. Also because I love ramen & my stomach does too. Lmao

Location of Ramen Shop: 469 6th Ave

I had the Tokyo Chicken Ramen Shoyu. Ingredients chicken broth, diced onions, green onions, chicken breast & a Naruto Fishcake. Hit the spot as usual, the marinated egg took me to the world of animation as I “Yes’d” while taking a bite. “Yes’d” is officially a word according to me.

The amazing Sake joined my ramen bowl as it turned out to be a lit night.

Instant Ramen ingredients

-A package of instant ramen, any brand the more expensive the better lol (There is good original Ramen Noodles that would make the instant ramen better)

-Soft cooked eggs, (Check out my marinated egg blog to spice up the ramen)

-Fresh Vegetables (Mushrooms, peppers, jalapeños, extra mushrooms if you prefer no meat)

-Roasted chicken if you want meat, cut breast thin & even, not too thick.

-Cook the instant Ramen with a Ramen broth of your choice, the chicken ramen broth is usually seasoned with hints of ginger, tamari & mushrooms.

Become one with the ramen, it’s easy & creative, have fun making instant ramen 🍜!!

NYC Ramen “Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ

The ramen here was delicious I have to say I’ll definitely be back !!

The location: 620 Amsterdam Ave

I had “Tonkotsu Ramen” which is pork bone broth, boiled egg, sesame seeds & garlic oil on the side.
The Noodles fantastic, I Naruto’d my way into the bowl lol
I have to say though the pork was a bit rough, difficult to chew but everything else A+
Mouthwatering boiled eggs, well done!
The broth was so good I drank it like cereal lmao

I also had some Japanese alcohol called “Nigori Sake” I have to say not a bad combo & definitely great vibes.

Why are the Ramen eggs so good?

That’s because these eggs are cooked to perfection, here’s how:

Boil the egg into a pot for 6 minutes, make sure the Egg is under water, stir the egg for a few minutes so the yolk stays in between

Once the 6 minutes is up, take eggs and place them under cold water or ice before peeling

Now it’s time to marinate

In a pan cook up some soy sauce , (mirin) which is a Japanese sweet rice wine & stock

Allow the sauce to cool down, then you place the egg in the sauce and let it marinate for 24 hours or longer

And make sure it’s in the fridge when marinating!!!

Thank you for reading!! Go test it out ✨🙏🏼
